Pros:

1) The unit is small. It uses very little counter space and is easy to take on road trips and such.
2) Regular clean-up is also very easy. After mixing, rinse the blades and wash the container pieces you have used; your all cleaned up in less than a minute. I find this particularly nice. I had been avoiding using my other mixers because the cleanup was laborious.
3) It's got pretty good power for its size. You won't juice wheat grass with it, but it will do fine with most nuts and hard vegetables. Hint: Put the hard items in last so they wind up by the blades.
4) Price is good for these capabilities when compared to more high-end models like a Vitamix or HealthMaster.

Cons:

1) Only one larger container is provided; two small ones. I would like to have seen that the other way around.
2) Securing the blades to the container requires a fair amount of strength. I wouldn't recommend this to someone who does not have fairly decent muscle tone in the arms. Failure to lock it down tight is a real problem. Absolute care must be exercised to ensure a proper seal every time!

  • "it sounds like a military jet engine when it is running" -> Not so. It sounds as loud as loud as any blender I have ever used. Does not come close to the sound of a jet engine. _bryan
  • "the plastic cup broke when screwing on tightly" -> Not yet. I have tightened the lid tight enough to prevent leakage, and tight enough that my wife cannot open it. There is a rubber ring that gets compressed to prevent leakage and probably absorbs some force when tightening. Would say i put it pretty tight, and it has not broken. _john
  • "it smells like grease or electronics burning when using" -> Yes. The first use it did smell like electronics smoking. As a guy, i am not super sensitive to smells. That said, it was noticeable, but not very strong. It dissipated over the course of a few uses. I would imagine there is some lubricants that were burring off initially. No smells at this point. _jean
  • I've hated the taste of vegetables since I was kid and was never in my diet. I've always tried green smoothies or shakes and always tasted like grass to me. I mainly stuck with fruit, but after becoming a personal trainer I knew I needed more Vitamin A fibers in my diet and bowel movements were getting worse from not doing so just turning 25yrs old. Plus, I was feeling like a complete hypocrite telling my clients to eat greens when I didn't myself and my #1 rule as trainer was I wasn't gonna make them do anything I haven't done before (you wouldn't go to a dentist with bad teeth right?). So I saw the ad on TV, and even though it looked corny...the guy knew what he was talking about the other blenders just mix and proper nutrition.
I've had it for 3 weeks now and I love it. All I have to do is add a banana to the all the spinach,           broccoli, carrots, flax oil and kale I've been "Nutriblasting" to not get that overwhelming taste I           naturally regurgitate. It came at the perfect time in my life, because at 6'4/255lbs I put on alot            of muscle, but some body fat in the process. So I've been a WAY CLEANER diet also using the          BodyBugg Program to track calories in & out so I keep the muscle and burn the extra fat. I'm              down to 235lbs now (20lbs)and I feel great because I feel I finally have that huge gap in my diet          filled with natural foods my body needs for a great workout. Most of all, I'm never constipated            anymore. _Ian v
  • I love our nutribullet. You can literally get almost an entire days worth of fruits and veggies in one serving... And it is delicious. Many of us have heard about the Vitamix blender, but most of us can't afford 500 dollars for this kind of appliance. Plus, who wants to clean an entire blender when you can individualize all your smoothies and just blend and clean all in one cup?? We got ours at bed, bath, and beyond. With a 20 percent off coupon (you can go to their website and get one), we paid $85 for our nutribullet. Give it a try-you won't regret it!!
